Northern University
The university is presently based in its city campus, at Nowshera. The campus is centrally located and is easily accessible through public transport. Suitable land (124 Kanals) has been acquired for the main campus at Nowshera, and the foundation stone for the main block was laid by Mr. Khalil Ur Rehman, Governor NWFP in April 2005 The university presently has four faculties, with adequate facilities to become center of excellence in its own right. New & Events

  • The university has completed 3rd phase of building campus. Construction of mosque is in progress.4th Phase Inauguration by the governor Planned in Nov/Dec.

  • The improvement in the intake of university admissions and graduating student’s performance is a clear indication of its quality control.

  • Road construction has certain hindrance but management is per suing with the government to open the road by Nov 2007.

Policy on the Issue of Degrees.
  1. Students completing and fulfilling the degree requirements have to complete following formalities before the convocation/formal issue of degree.:

    1. Bachelor Degree minimum passing GPA 2.00. - All courses passed.
    2. Master Degree minimum passing GPA 2.00.
    3. Students to clear all dues/fines compatible with courses they have taken.
    4. Students have to submit the clearance form and fulfill the requirements of getting clearance from Accounts/Library/Computer Lab/Electronics Lab/ Return stores/ Sports goods etc.
    5. Students have to clear with teacher any assignments/pending project reports.
    6. Students have to ensure that their name/father name spellings are corrected in order to have correct spellings endorsed on the degree. University will print the name as spelled in Matric certificate, so please provide Matric certificate copy.
    7. Students are required to give detail address information of Parents/Self/Guardian along with telephone numbers.
    8. Students Parents/Guardians information/address to be given if leaving the country.
    9. Deposit ID Card issued by the University.
    10. Student are required to submit NADRA computerized ID Card copy of self/parents for security clearance requirements of special branch (Convocation Function).
    11. Students are required to inform the University in case of any address/telephone number change.
    12. Students have to ensure their personal record files are completed in all respect and must get clearance from Data Cell. Last degree attested copy from concerned Inter Board or the University.Have to be submitted immediately

It is in the interest of the students who are completing their studies that they complete all the above requirements of clearance/dues so that their degree can be awarded as & when convocation is planned. Students completing the clearance requirements will only be issued with the degrees/DMCs/Provisional Certificates.Student will be informed about convocation function tentatively 3 months in advance to complete the formalities and deposit convocation fee approx 3000/=
