Northern University
The university is presently based in its city campus, at Nowshera. The campus is centrally located and is easily accessible through public transport. Suitable land (124 Kanals) has been acquired for the main campus at Nowshera, and the foundation stone for the main block was laid by Mr. Khalil Ur Rehman, Governor NWFP in April 2005 The university presently has four faculties, with adequate facilities to become center of excellence in its own right. New & Events

  • The university has completed 3rd phase of building campus. Construction of mosque is in progress.4th Phase Inauguration by the governor Planned in Nov/Dec.

  • The improvement in the intake of university admissions and graduating student’s performance is a clear indication of its quality control.

  • Road construction has certain hindrance but management is per suing with the government to open the road by Nov 2007.

    To promote higher education in Nowshera, EDR Trust is giving  scholorships to all students i.e. 40% of tution fee, since year 2003

Northern University is opening its doors of higher education with the primary objective of offering cost effective education with a view to meet the challenges and demands of the market. Our aim is to give quality education with major emphasis on applied knowledge and skills, enabling our students to successfully enter practical life with sound professional outlook.

Pursuit of excellence on the University Campus is the aim of our competent and dedicated faculty. Our goal will be to tailor the curriculum in order to meet the challenges and future needs of our country.

Cosmopolitan in outlook, Northern University offers students the opportunity to work with educationists, scholars and intellectuals from all over Pakistan. Our campus is committed to providing a stimulating and supportive intellectual environment through state of the art computer lab, research lab, and electronic lab. Our objective is not just to give degrees, but also to enrich lives through the development of self-discipline, confidence and technical skills. One of our aims is to provide opportunities for those who have the ability and motivation to succeed.

As the semester gets underway, I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your experiences as new and continuing students. But as you settle down in your academic lives, do not lose sight of the bigger question that attracted many of you to Northern University in the first place, "To develop a thorough professional attitude in whatever field you choose to work".
